Our Story

transforming runway surface condition monitoring from reactive to predictive

The idea for Sequetrics was born at 35,000 feet—on a transatlantic flight delayed by over 10 hours. The cause - A sudden pothole detected on the airport runway, leading to an unplanned airfield closure. The disruption rippled across operations: flights cancelled, passengers stranded, and teams scrambling to manage the chaos.

We couldn’t accept that in today’s world, critical runway issues like this could arise without warning, with no tools in place to proactively detect and prevent them. This experience sparked a vision: to transform runway surface condition monitoring from reactive to predictive—enhancing safety, reducing delays, and saving costs.
